Admissions Overview

Welcome to the Stepping Stones Montessori School on-line registration process. All the information you need to register your child is available on this website. Please read through this page before completing the on-line registration form.

You may apply at any stage following the birth of your child. For Primary school applications, we require children to have previously attended a Montessori school for at least 2 years.

Admissions Procedure:

  1. Complete the online registration form.
  2. Pay the non-refundable registration fee of R200 and send proof of payment to admin@steppingstones.org.za. Our bank details are: Nedbank Gardens, Account 1010014579, Branch code 101009. Please state your child’s name and ‘reg fee’ as a reference.
  3. Once payment of the registration fee has been received, you will receive a letter confirming your child’s registration at Stepping Stones Montessori School.
  4. Your child’s name will be placed on our waiting list. Should a place become available, you will be called for an interview and your child will need to attend an assessment.
  5. If your interview is successful, a placement fee is payable on acceptance of your child to the school. The school also requires a School Development Contribution Fee. Current fee structures can be found here.
  6. Should your child be accepted into our school, you will be required to sign a Service Agreement.
